Chopper Tech classes cover all the basics for getting started, including the economic levels of styles, types and uses. Students are able to make wiser decisions on which products to purchase. Classes cover all functions necessary to get started or sharpen your skills. We have chosen to keep overhead low to pass savings on to our students without compromising quality. All subjects are covered thoroughly as stated in the syllabus. If students have special interests we do our best to address them within the class. Upon completion of class, students may use the tech line for any questions.

We have been building, restoring, repairing and customizing bikes for over 25 years. We build motors and transmissions, complete wire harnesses and everything else related to Harley Davidson type customs including hardtail and softail chain drive and belt drive. Learn which parts work... and which don't.

Classes are also offered in Motor and Transmission building. The newest offering is the Maintenance Class followed by Workshops for those who want to do their own work, but might not have the right place to work. They can bring the bike in to use our shop with lift, tools and technical assistance as needed. We also cover restoration projects.

Chopper Tech is a dynamic 3 day hands on motorcycle building course designed to teach all the skills necessary to build a bike from the ground up. The course is formulated for everyone from the entry level mechanic to the experienced wrench.

We strive to give you the knowledge needed to create a better bike; to simplify many basics and even excel in advanced bike building... We strive to help you to overcome any lack of knowledge and take you to a better hands on experience that will enable your future. We believe our hands on instruction will give you a better knowledge base than any video or book.

Our course breaks down the important do's and don'ts, taking you from basic ideas to knowing what it takes to really create a motorcycle that excels in todays market.... and will likewise focus on the economics of the bike building process. Our experienced staff will show you how to build your dream bike the right way, with the correct components while avoiding costly mistakes.

We have 3 instructors with over 75 combined years of bike building experience on staff and the class ratio is 4-1 to ensure our students get quality instruction.

Students attending the 3 day course will learn the skills necessary to order and install the correct parts and learn to avoid many of the pitfalls that many mechanics make.

Students will additionally learn everything from installing engines to wiring and checking drive train alignments. During this 3 day course we will build a complete running motorcycle from the frame up and learn to use all of the tools necessary to build a bike from torque wrenches to micrometers.
