Chopper Tech - College Courses for Custom Motorcycle Building

Chopper Tech is a dynamic 3 day motorcycle building course designed to teach all the skills necessary to build a bike from the ground up. The course is formulated to teach everyone from the entry level mechanic to the experienced wrench. We also cover restoration projects. Our course breaks down the do's and don'ts and will focus on the economics of the bike building process. Our experienced staff will show you how to build your dream bike, the right way, with the correct components, and avoid costly mistakes. We have 3 instructors with over 75 years of combined experience in building motorcycles. Our class ratio is 4 to 1 so that we can ensure our students get quality instruction. Students attending the 3 day course will learn the skills necessary to order/install the correct parts and avoid costly mistakes made by many new mechanics. The hands-on process allows you to work under the tutelage of experienced bike builders. You will learn everything from installing engines, to wiring, to checking drive train alignments. In our 3 day course students will be building a Complete Running Motorcycle from the ground up. You will also learn to use all of the tools needed for building your bike, from torque wrenches to micrometers to measure clearances. All required skills will be addressed in this course. This is a licensed vocational class, so check with your employer about Tuition Reimbursement.
